We are currently seeking the right candidate for the position of:
AVIATION SUPERVISOR (BASED IN NAURU)
The Aviation Refueling Supervisor supports the Officer in Charge in managing the daily operations of the refueling team and ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of aviation fuel to aircraft. This role is responsible for leading a high-performance team, maintaining strict safety standards, and upholding quality control measures essential to aviation safety. The position reports to the Officer in Charge – Terminal
The Aviation Supervisor (Nauru) will be responsible for assigning or manning the following duties:
- Conduct aircraft refueling operations in full compliance with aviation fuel handling standards and safety protocols
- Receive and inspect fuel deliveries from tankers and iso-tank containers, ensuring all products meet aviation specifications before use
- Execute fuel sampling and quality control procedures with precision while maintaining detailed records per regulatory standards
- Perform tank gauging and hydrant servicing operations including mobile bowser and aircraft fueling tasks following documented protocols
- Complete fuel transfers to aircraft without spills, contamination, or operational delays while maintaining safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily fuel dips, meter readings, uplift records, and product transfer logs
- Prepare detailed reports for fuel reconciliations, product movements, and operational compliance in coordination with terminal operations
- Ensure strict safety compliance with company rules, regulations, and policies while actively participating in safety meetings and drills
- Implement emergency response procedures and defensive driving protocols while maintaining comprehensive safety awareness
- Monitor staff training and certifications through LMS systems while ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment across all operations
She/he is to ensure that all tasks performed are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with the company’s operating procedure guideline.
Qualification & Experience
Essential
- 2-3 years experience with people and project management responsibilities, developing the ability and confidence to work with limited supervision
- A solid understanding of health and safety with the ability to translate it into procedures
- High Scholl diploma or other related fields that is relevant to the role.
Desirable
- Experience in an operation or industry where on-time and accurate customer deliveries are paramount. Prior experience in the broader energy industry is a plus.
- University Diploma in Engineering/Business administration/finance management
